On Saturday, April 25, the small south Asian country Nepal was devastated by a 7.8 -magnitude earthquake. Over 70% of the structures were near the epicenter were destroyed and countless others damaged. As it stands now over 3000 people has been killed and more than 6500 people injured. People are grave need of shelter in the frigid temps, fresh water, food, and medical care.
What relief agencies need right now is cash to purchase then transport to affected areas in Nepal.
I donated to the Red Cross via iTunes. It was quick and easy. There are other vetted relief organizations that have teams already on the ground. Here is a list here.
