Sick Day Cup of Tea
It certainly has been some time since I have shared on Monday Ann-Sense. With everything going on the past few months, I have been going nonstop. Today I need to stop. I need to take a sick day. Both my son and I are sick. I was hoping that my first post in a very long time would be about the super new office of Mind The Gap Public Relations. Maybe next week.
I am sure there is some research out there saying that taking a sick day is a good idea. All I know that it is important to rest your body when ill. That can be hard for small business owners. We have very long to-do lists, so taking a sick day is really hard for us to give ourselves permission to do so. People are depending on us. We have to remember that clients and customers are depending on us to do our best for them. When we are sick, we cannot. So take that sick day to feel better. Everyone will appreciate it.
Now more tea for me while snuggling with my sick little guy watching PBS Kids.
Do you take a sick day when you have your own business?
