This week is going to be a busy week for me. I’m a speaker on social media crisis communications and Internet Safety. Two topics I’m passionate about. While I’m an introvert, I feel so good when I get share my knowledge with others even when I’m a bunch of butterflies speaking to large groups of people swell up in my stomach.
On October 17, I will be speaking at ConvergeSouth where I will be sharing social media crisis communications case studies. We’ll be talking about how to prepare for a social media crisis as well as manage it successfully. I’m all about preventing social from hitting the fan. There maybe tickets available still so go check the event out. It is being held in Winston-Salem, NC so you can make it a long weekend.
Also, I’m speaking to a group of parents about keeping their teens cybersafe earlier in the week. Technology changes rapidly. And new apps come to market daily. It is hard to keep up with it all. Especially when you have digital naives involved. I’ll be sharing the most popular social apps for teens and how parents can keep on top of what is on their teen’s phone.
If you need a social media crisis communications speaker, let’s talk. I’d love to come speak to your organization or conference about social media crisis communications and how organizations can successfully navigate the #fail. Or keeping teens safe on the Internet.
