I admit I spend a lot of time on my front porch. On days when I’m not needing the big monitor of a desktop, I take my laptop out on the porch and it becomes my office. It is a good way for me to be productive and enjoy the weather. Sort of makes me feel like I’m not working while I am.
As I work away while the activity of the world swirls around, I often observe hummingbirds coming to their feeder. They rarely stop moving. Always moving onto their next refuel. Always focused.
I find myself admiring hummingbirds for their focus. As the business grows, I need to maintain focus. It is hard to do that when you run your own business when there are so many demands on your time.
Hummingbirds achieve their goals thanks to that focus. So I’m keeping focused.
Is it hard for you to keep focused? And how do you keep focused?
