DPA Awards Social Media Crisis Communications: Preparing for, Preventing, and Surviving a Public Relations #Fail

So pleased to be able to share with everyone some news I’m proud about. My book, Social Media Crisis Communications: Preparing for, Preventing, and Surviving a Public Relations #Fail, received an award in the Delaware Press Association’s annual communications contest in the very competitive category of Books and Creative Writing – Nonfiction books for adult readers – General Nonfiction. I am thrilled to have received this award. And I’m actually tickled that my book can be referred as to an “awarding” book. If you haven’t gotten your copy of  my social media crisis communications book yet, you can do so now.
Also, I can report that my newspaper column with the Lexington Herald-Leader, which is nationally distributed by McClatchy Tribune Media Services took home an award for the fourth year in a row. So glad my peers appreciate what subjects I write about every month.
And lastly, my fun food blog, Well-Worn Apron, received an award. That blog is a labor of love where I get to share my love of food and cooking with the world. I guess this now means I need to post there regularly. 🙂
All of the categories entered were highly competitive. I’ve got some wicked smart peers both in public relations and journalism, so when I receive awards from the Delaware Press Association, it is very meaningful to me.
