Sorry, but not in my book. It has been five days since Olbermann left MSNBC and I can’t believe folks are still talking about it. In fact, I can’t believe how much ink was given to this “story” by news outlets such as the New York Times and the Washington Post. These are mainstream outlets not industry publications. Does anyone really care outside of the media circles? This departure was news to me for about five minutes. What classifies as news to me: Tunisia imploding and how the unrest could spread to other countries in the Middle East… Healthcare reform and what it really means for everyone… The backpack bomb left along a MLK holiday parade route highlighting potential home-grown terrorists. That’s news not a host leaving a TV show. Sorry Mr. Olbermann. But I do have a slight feeling he’d agree with me.

Wow!, this was a top quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and never seem to get something done.
