I voted today. As a naturalized US citizen, I take my duty seriously and have made every effort to vote regardless. I’ve flown back on election day and gone straight off the plane to my polling place.
Now that I’m a Mother, I talked with my three-year old son about where we were going this morning and why it was important. I wish I had been able to record our post-voting car ride because it was priceless. Our kids are listening to us… Even at an early age…
