As I type this, I’m flying over the Atlantic Ocean. I plan on using my data plan to continue using Foursquare while I’m in the Netherlands. (Yes, that’s nutty, but it is fun, too!) I checked into Washington Dulles International Airport to start my journey. I still enjoy traveling and checking into an airport means adventure to me. I know you’re groaning at the thought of waiting in-line to check bags, bascially undressing to wait in yet another line for security then hustling to the gate in order to wait some more. Besides all that, an airport means going somewhere different, trying new things, and interacting with new people to me.
It got me thinking about fantasy Foursquare check-ins. What would be a fantasy Foursquare check-in for me? Let me see…
– Empire State Building (at the top at night with clouds floating by under me.)
– Angkor Wat
– Shinkansen (Bullet Train)
– Taj Mal
– White House
– United Nations (Delegates Dining Room)
– Top Gear Studios (a BBC auto program)
– Numberg Ring (in an Audi r8)
– Hot air ballon (in the Southwest of the US)
– Swiss Glacier Express
– Lego Factory
– TEDWomen
Those are some that come to mind without much thought for me.
So what would be a fantasy Foursquare check-in for you?
